The power, oil and gas markets are three of the largest industrial water and wastewater markets. The power market includes electrical and thermal power plants, where water and wastewater treatment for zero liquid discharge and cooling tower blowdown is common. The oil market includes refineries and oil drilling operations and the technologies used to treat water and wastewater in the process. The gas market includes natural gas production and fracking operations where water and wastewater treatment as well as water reuse with remediated water.
