Balmoral Tanks opens Ohio facility for U.S. tank production
Balmoral Tanks has begun production at a new 16,600-square-foot manufacturing facility in Northeast Ohio, expanding its U.S. operations and producing epoxy-coated steel tanks for water, wastewater, industrial, energy and infrastructure applications.
The facility manufactures tanks under Balmoral's efusion brand, which uses the company's in-house steel panel epoxy coating technology. The company said the Ohio operation will support projects across North America, including anaerobic digestion and wastewater applications.
Balmoral is investing approximately $2 million in the Ohio facility, its third operations site alongside facilities in England and Wales. The company said domestic production will help reduce shipping costs and delivery times for U.S. customers while limiting transportation delays.
The expansion comes as Balmoral targets growing demand in the U.S. biogas, wastewater and water storage markets. The company also provides turnkey project services, including design, site preparation, installation and commissioning.
Recent U.S. projects have included storage systems for renewable energy applications, including anaerobic digestion facilities.
