The 37th Annual WateReuse Symposium’s detailed program is now live, boasting nearly 70 hours of technical sessions.

The Symposium’s plenary sessions will tackle the most significant emerging topics and challenges in the water reuse industry. Scout out the unexpected geographies where water reuse will pop up next in “Different Drivers, Different Strategies: Water Reuse in New Places.” Or hear first-hand utility responses to one of the nation’s most ambitious regulatory efforts in “T-minus 10 & Counting: Navigating Florida’s Elimination of Surface Discharges.”

The Symposium’s fresh new format organizes technical sessions by project life cycle phases, tailoring content for you whether you’re just beginning to build public support, piloting new technologies, or are already reusing water in your community. The Symposium will also host conversations about current and future research trends, including an interactive workshop led by The Water Research Foundation to create a roadmap for future water reuse research. Participants can take advantage of more than 55 professional development hours highlighting the latest in water recycling policy, research, technology, operations, and public engagement.

As a long-time leader in reuse, San Antonio provides an excellent backdrop to envision the future of our industry. Water reuse professionals will converge in person for the first time since 2019 to share stories, inspiration, and best practices. The Symposium will kick off with a tour of San Antonio Water System’s groundbreaking Steven Clouse Water Recycling Center, and networking events will take place along San Antonio's renowned river walk and beyond. Registered participants already include many prominent water engineering firms as well as utilities from Florida to California and everywhere in between.

Advanced registration is open until February 25, with discount hotel reservations available until February 18 or while rooms remain. Visit watereuse.org/symposium to learn more and register today.
