Schneider Electric is showcasing automation, digitalization and cybersecurity technologies for water and wastewater utilities at WEFTEC 2026 in New Orleans.

The company is highlighting its latest Modicon automation platform, which includes cybersecurity enhancements certified to IEC 62443-3-3 Security Level 2. Features include encrypted firmware, network authentication and role-based access controls for Modicon M580 CPUs, communication cards and Ethernet switches.

Schneider Electric is also featuring cybersecurity assessments, program and policy development and managed security services with continuous monitoring, threat detection and response. Other technologies on display include EcoStruxure Automation Expert for software-defined automation, TeSys Tera motor protection and monitoring, Altivar Process drives for pumping, aeration and dosing applications and EcoStruxure Water Advisor for connected water management and predictive analytics.

The company also announced that CITI Inc., a Charlotte, North Carolina-based control systems integrator, has achieved Alliance Master status in Schneider Electric’s Industrial Automation Alliance Partner Program. CITI provides PLC and SCADA development and control panel construction for municipal, industrial and water and wastewater applications.

Schneider Electric will also host sessions at WEFTEC on open automation, operational technology cybersecurity, digital transformation and modernization strategies.
