Aqua America government affairs specialist David Kralle was honored as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by City & State Pennsylvania at the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia.
Every year, City & State Pennsylvania honors 40 talented individuals under the age of 40 who work in Pennsylvania government, politics and advocacy. Kralle, who was nominated for the recognition by former Senator Earl Baker, was among honorees that include Congressman Brendan Boyle and Pennsylvania Representative Ryan Mackenzie.
“Being nominated by former Senator Earl Baker is a true honor,” said Kralle. “Earl’s time in the Senate of Pennsylvania and the Chester County Board of Commissioners gave him a unique perspective on the next generation of leaders and his nomination has inspired me to work even harder to ensure I fulfill the potential he sees in me.”
“We’re proud of Dave for his recognition as a rising star,” said Kimberly Joyce, vice president of regulatory, government and external affairs. “Dave has helped support legislation that improves water quality and encourages aging water and wastewater infrastructure replacement throughout the commonwealth.”
Kralle started his career in government affairs as a part-time legislative assistant for Pennsylvania Representative Dennis O’Brien during college. At 25 years old, he ran for a seat in the statehouse in 2012. While Kralle didn’t win, he has learned to “never say never” when it comes to political ambitions.
