Grundfos’ SL range is a new line of submersible wastewater pumps created to optimize performance and designed to handle unscreened sewage, effluent, large volumes of surface and process water in municipal, utility and industrial applications. The pumps are up for the challenge of pump media containing large solids, rags and fibers without clogging the pump. The SL range is available with the S-tube impeller – the only impeller on the market designed to take on these challenges. The S-tube impeller allows for free passage of solids up to 4 inches in size. The SL pumps are designed for permanent submerged installation by means of an auto coupling or a guide rail system, or for free-standing installation on a ring stand with a flexible pipe connection.
