Started during the BIden administration and continued during the Trump administration, the efforts to onshore or reshore silicon manufacturing and expand data center location across the U.S. are creating business for numerous business markets.

Often overlooked is the water component as these manufacturing processes and technologies require a lot of water, sometimes very pure water. Donnie Ginn, Black & Veatch executive vice president and global water solutions leader, explains how his engineering firm is meeting those water needs through utility water supply projects.
