The Water Environment Federation (WEF) announced its 2023 class of WEF Fellows, acknowledging generation members for extensive efforts to preserve and enhance the global water environment.

The annual WEF Fellows Recognition Program is awarded each year to celebrate members’ outstanding contributions to the global water sector, leaving a lasting difference for the water sector and public health.

WEF Fellows are recognized in areas of expertise including education, design, leadership, operations, regulation, research, and utility management. The program also highlights how these experts contribute to WEF’s role as a water-quality organization.

“We’re proud to honor these exceptional WEF members,” said Pat Nichols, interim executive director of WEF. “We at WEF are building strategies of boldness, agility, diversity, collaboration, and customer service on the foundation these Fellows have helped create. This program is our way of recognizing their significant, long-term contributions to our industry and the environment.”
