NEFCO Appoints New Vice President of Engineering, Business Development

Larry Bishop, P.E., will work to expand business activities in North America

NEFCO, a North American biosolids management company, recently announced the appointment of Larry Bishop, P.E., to the role of vice president of engineering and business development. NEFCO designs, builds and operates sludge processing facilities to produce a biosolids product that is readily used in premium fertilizer or as a combustion fuel.

Bishop will report directly to General Manager Jim Sullivan and will work with other key management personnel at NEFCO to expand business activities in North America. In this new role, Bishop will help grow NEFCO’s business geographically and will work to expand and improve NEFCO’s biosolids management technology offerings. His responsibilities will include managing research and development in alternative fuel sources, renewable energy and overall biosolids management technology efficiency.

Bishop is a registered professional engineer, with more than 20 years of experience in the design, construction, and operations of treatment and biosolids management and environmental facilities. He is an industry expert in treatment process technologies and brings valuable technical expertise to NEFCO, specifically in pumping, pipeline and treatment facilities, including liquid sludge conveyance, dewatering and thermal drying processes. Bishop’s background in business development and operations management includes a proven track record of revenue growth and profitable performance.
