New Jersey American Water completed the acquisition of the Jensen's Deep Run community's water system and wastewater treatment and collection system in Plumsted Township, Ocean County, N.J., effective Jan. 3. Last month, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approved New Jersey American Water's franchise for wastewater service in the Jensen's Deep Run community. New Jersey American Water has held the franchise for water service since 1906. The Jensen's Deep Run water and wastewater system serves approximately 750 residents.

The company will provide its new customers with 24-hour customer assistance, reliable service and investments to continually improve the community's water and wastewater system.
