Kansas City Water Services Department Selects Group 1's DOC1 Digital to Generate Customer Communicat

Utility to Implement DOC1 Digital for Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment, Print Output

Group 1 Software, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) enabling software solutions, announced that the Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department has selected its DOC1 Digital customer communications solution. The Kansas City Water Services Department will utilize the DOC1 Digital system to generate print and electronic customer communications for delivery to its 170,000 customers. DOC1 Digital is a member of the DOC1 suite for customer communications management, which permits enterprise-wide creation and management of highly personalized customer communications and messaging campaigns for multi-channel delivery.

"We selected DOC1 Digital due to its flexibility and ability to generate customer-friendly communications," said Miguel Echeverria, IT manager for the Kansas City Water Services Department. "The Group 1 solution will enable us to provide our customers a more detailed explanation of the charges for each of the services we offer. Our customer service representatives will also be able to view a PDF copy of the customer's bill while handling inquiries. We also intend to utilize DOC1 Digital's electronic delivery capabilities to provide customer bills via email and the Web in addition to our printed communications."
