Time is running out. Every year, Water & Wastes Digest supports future water and wastewater professionals through the WWEMA/W&WD Scholarship, by awarding $1,000 to a student seeking a career in a water- or wastewater-related field. The deadline to submit your 2015 application is fast approaching—Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.
To qualify for the W&WD scholarship, students must have a parent employed by a WWEMA-member company and must be accepted into a four-year bachelor’s program in an acceptable field of study by an accredited institution of higher learning. Examples of acceptable fields of study include biology, chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, environmental engineering, environmental sciences and/or natural resources planning.
