Woodard & Curran Appoints New Operations Manager

Niro to head firm’s operations and management business

Woodard & Curran is pleased to announce that Steven Niro has been named Operations Manager of the firm’s Operations and Management (O&M) business.

Niro, who has been with Woodard & Curran for 13 years, had previously served as Northeast Regional Manager for the O&M group. In his new role, he will oversee seven area managers and nearly 50 water, wastewater, groundwater and industrial waste facilities in the northeast, southeast, and western regions of the country. His duties will include fiscal, managerial, environmental compliance, health & safety, and client service accountability for the firm’s contract operated facilities.

He has more than 24 years of experience providing technical assistance in such areas as chemistry, biology, and sludge disposal. He is a nationally recognized technical specialist in the water, groundwater remediation, and wastewater industries. He is a certified operator and has authored numerous technical and managerial papers related to treatment facilities.
