Why Water?

We can't live without it.  Access to it can define a family, a community, a nation.

What about your current position excites you?

Ability to influence and make real change.

What is your moonshot idea for solving what you consider to be the most important water industry problem today?

Think of water as a boundary free resource that all people deserve - work on a more holistic basis to provide access for all.

What role has mentorship played in your career to date?

Its been everything.  I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for the mentors I have had.  There are so many people that took a chance on me, and invested themselves in making me better - even when I was a reluctant participant.

What piece of media (books, TV shows, movies, games, podcasts, etc.) has had the greatest impact on you in the past 12 months?

The Wings of Fire series that I'm reading with my 7 year old son - we are both equally invested in the stories.  Its turned into something we have really bonded over and one of the best parts of my day.

What does it mean to you to be a woman who works in the water industry?

My career was built on the trailblazing work of the women before me - I feel privileged to continue to progress the role of women in the business for those that will come after me.
