Frost & Sullivan recognizes company service, mobile water treatment services

Frost and Sullivan named Evoqua Water Technologies the top provider of service and mobile water treatment services for heavy and light industry.

“Evoqua lays heavy emphasis on rapid decision making and achieves high levels of responsiveness by empowering the employees in its 85 branches,” said Deepthi Sugumar, Frost and Sullivan. “As decision-making is decentralized, each branch office can decide on the appropriate solution for mobile water treatment and the accompanying pricing structure. This unique method of empowerment has improved time management and increased its customer base.

“Quite simply, they focus on making their customers’ issues go away and they are very successful in doing it … which is why their customers continue to come back to them again and again,” Sugumar said.

Frost and Sullivan’s study of the water treatment market used criteria to measure customer service across the areas of empowerment, leverage of customer feedback, speed/timeliness to resolve issues, frictionless interaction and technological investment. Evoqua’s final, overall score was a 9.5 rating out of 10. Evoqua’s turnaround times, emphasis on safety and service professional training led to its score.

One service solution cited by Frost and Sullivan was Evoqua’s mobile water treatment system using ion exchange for demineralization, a rapid-response system used to restore water service on the customer’s site. The ion exchange system is dispatched from the service branch within two hours and quickly commissioned once it reached the customer’s site. The mobile water treatment systems are maintained with great precision to ensure they are ready to go online immediately.

“The Evoqua culture emphasizes safety, customer service and integrity in keeping our promises to our customers,” said Rodney Aulick, president of Evoqua’s Industrial Projects and Services. “This award validates that we indeed have that culture. I am proud to accept this award on behalf of all the Evoqua employees that deliver award winning service 24/7, 365 days a year.”
