Underground Solutions Begins International Expansion

Company Opens First International Office in the Netherlands

Underground Solutions, Inc. opened its first international office in The Hague, Netherlands, and hired Michiel Arnoldy as vice president of Business Development/International.

Arnoldy will be responsible for establishing strategic alliances and implementing the company’s business development plans throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. Formerly Director of Sales for Chemviron Carbon, a subsidiary of US based Calgon Carbon and Asko Nobel, Arnoldy has almost 20 years of international business development experience throughout Europe, South America and Southeast Asia.

"There is a global interest in our Duraliner Structural Water Line Renewal System," stated Mark A. Smith, Underground Solutions’ President/CEO. "We have been providing technical and pricing information to numerous municipalities and potential strategic partners in a number of countries and we feel that we are close to completing several international deals."
