Water Buffalos Plan Sixth Annual Motorcycle Ride

Charity riders will arrive in Washington, D.C., for ACE11

The sixth annual Water Buffalo Charity Ride will take place this June, arriving in Washington, D.C., on June 11 for the American Water Works Assn. (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE11).

Each rider and passenger will raise money for Water For People. Last year, the ride to ACE10 in Chicago raised $59,000 and to date the group has raised more than $250,000.

Riders can start at six locations across the country. Each rider will receive a member patch with state or province chapter for the Water Buffalos, the motorcycle group of water and wastewater professionals.

Aclara and several other companies will sponsor the event.
