Variable frequency drives

Dart Controls has introduced the EZ VFD family of variable frequency drives for 0.25 to 2 hp applications, designed for simple installation and operation in water and wastewater systems. The drives are plug-and-play for most applications with no parameter programming required and feature adjustable trimpots for fine tuning speed control. Dual voltage input of 115V or 230V AC single phase with 230V AC three phase output supports flexible installation across a wide range of equipment.

The EZ VFD provides precise speed control through a 0 to 5 VDC follower signal and includes built-in protection for overload current and temperature, anti-coast deceleration and motor braking. Compact designs are available in open chassis or NEMA 4X enclosures for indoor or washdown environments. Standard control inputs support run and stop, forward and reverse and speed adjustment.

Designed to operate in temperatures from 14°F to 95°F (−10°C to 35°C) for NEMA 4X enclosures and up to 113°F (−10°C to 45°C) for chassis models, the EZ VFD is well suited for pumps, blowers, conveyors and auxiliary equipment in water and wastewater facilities.
