Clark Engineers, Inc. was recently awarded a major infrastructure improvement project on the Illinois State University campus in Normal, Ill. The project involves the design of a 3,000-ton chiller plant that will provide chilled water for several major buildings in this area of the campus. The work will not only include the design of the chiller plant and the building design, but also the piping and distribution system to the various buildings, and interior air conditioning for several of the facilities. Clark Engineers, Inc. will lead the design team, which includes Clark, Flack + Kurtz Engineers, and BLDD Architects. The project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2006.
