Pennsylvania American Water, the state's largest regulated public water utility, has completed the acquisition of the water assets of Sligo Borough Authority for $430,000.

As a result of the acquisition, Pennsylvania American Water will serve 387 customers in Sligo Borough and in Piney Township (Clarion County). Pennsylvania American now serves over two million people in 368 Pennsylvania communities.
