Opella Announces Exclusive Distribution Agreement with JB Products

Effective May 1, 2004, JB Products will become the exclusive North American distributor for Opella Ltd.’s line of drinking dispenser faucets, plumbing accessories, basket strainers, and disposal wastes. Since its North American introduction nearly 15 years ago, the Opella Ltd. product line has become increasingly popular with wholesalers, contractors and consumers. JB Products is a division of Federal Process Corporation.

The Opella product line will be marketed under the "JB Signature" brand name. The "JB Signature" line will feature Opella Ltd’s products as well as a complete selection of special finish items, including bathwastes, p-traps, supply lines, and other JB accessories.

According to Opella Managing Director Len Strong, the distribution agreement will benefit both companies. "JB Products’ strong base of wholesale business will provide Opella with the opportunity for wider distribution and enhanced service in North America" he said. "In addition, JB will benefit from Opella Limited’s long standing reputation for quality, design and innovation".

A new "JB Signature" catalog and price guide including Opella Ltd. products will be available in 2004. Distributors and dealers will be able to combine their purchases of "JB Signature" products with the traditional JB lines of plastic and brass tubular products, bathwastes, strainers, commercial products, accessories and chemicals.
