EPA Orders Dallas to Fix Environmental Violations
EPA has ordered the city of Dallas to correct environmental violations at some of the its service centers.
The agency cited infractions such as illegally discharging and allowing pollutants into local waterways.
EPA also maintains that the city failed to follow its documented plan for protecting the environment from industrial pollution.
The order gives the city a timeline for correcting the problems and coming up with a plan to prevent further violations from occurring.
Failing to make the changes could result in fines of $27,500 per day, per violation.
