Equipping the World's Largest DynaSand Plant

Nordic Water Products, a Tyco Infrastructure Services Co., will equip the Damman Sewage Treatment Works in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia with DynaSand filters.

The contract, which comprises 216 filters, will make Damman the world’s largest continuous operated sand filter plant to tertiary treatment.

The plant is part of an extensive program to conserve water through reclamation and treatment. The filter equipment is scheduled to be installed in April 2004 with the plant going online in 2005.
