H&L Specialties Construction has received a contract for the installation of water and waste treatment mains in the Shadow Ridge Subdivision project in Northwest Arizona. The Shadow Ridge Subdivision is to be located approximately three miles Southeast of Mesquite, Nevada and will be the first major subdivision constructed in the Arizona Strip. The Contract, valued at $632,000, also includes the construction of a 500,000 gallon water storage facility and a waste treatment plan that is to be manufactured by Chieftain Products in North Platte, Nebraska.
The Nicholas Investment Company of Las Vegas owns 70 percent of the H&L Specialties Construction Company and they noted that this is the first of the utility contracts on the Shadow Ridge Subdivision which is scheduled to be fully permitted in early January. The president of Nicholas Investment Company also stated that with the commencement of this subdivision, it signals the first profitable projections for the corporation which would be in the first and second quarter of 2003. In addition, it is on schedule with our business plan which will encompass the corporations next ten years of construction and development.
