These melt-blown depth cartridges are constructed of 100% polypropylene and use no additives or surfactants that will cause foaming or other undesirable effects to the filtrate. The industrial filter cartridges utilize thermally bonded microfibers to create a stable, self-supporting media. These melt-blown cartridges offer a graded density construction to provide true depth-style filtration.
The pore construction allows for the highest dirt holding capacity, and they meet the FDA Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations. The cartridges are available in standard 2 ½-in. and 4 ½-in. diameter configurations with end cap configurations available to fit individual requirements. In addition, melt-blown cartridges are also NSF certified.
