Emerson has redesigned the mobile app for its DeltaV SaaS supervisory control and data acquisition software to give operators and technicians greater control and visibility while working in the field. The updated app is designed to support more efficient operations by allowing users to monitor processes, respond to alarms and manage production activities directly from mobile devices without the need for a laptop.

The rebuilt mobile app features a redesigned user interface that presents critical operations data in a more intuitive and accessible format. Users can create and customize reports to compare data from multiple sensors and locations, improving situational awareness across a facility. Push notifications deliver alarms directly to mobile devices, helping ensure faster awareness and response to developing issues.

New route planning capabilities allow operators and technicians to create and adjust routes directly within the app to match daily schedules and changing priorities. Users can quickly identify which locations are in alarm and access mapping functionality to navigate to specific assets more efficiently. Additional widgets provide at-a-glance visibility into alarm status and production data, helping streamline routine monitoring tasks.

The enhanced DeltaV SaaS SCADA mobile app is designed to support teams that increasingly rely on mobile technology as their primary interface to control systems, delivering improved clarity, flexibility and responsiveness across industrial and municipal operations.
