Archis Ambulkar contributed to the Oxford University's Research Encyclopedia on the topic "Nutrient Pollution and Wastewater Treatment Systems." The encyclopedia serves as a reference database for professionals across the globe.

Ambulkar is an environmental professional with more than 12 years of experience in the field. He served with programs such as the United Nations World Ocean Assessment, the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization’s Global Soil Partnership and the Inter-Governmental Panel for Climate Change. He also has published a book titled “Guidance for Professional Development in Drinking Water and Wastewater Industry.”
