David Applegate Joins J.F. Kiely Construction Co.

New senior vice president of water resources brings 32 years of experience

J.F. Kiely Construction Co., a utility construction company headquartered in Long Branch, N.J., announced that David J. Applegate has joined the company as senior vice president of water resources. Applegate's responsibilities include strengthening the company’s water resources design build services, as well as developing short and long growth initiatives for its water resources engineering and construction departments.

"The addition of Mr. Applegate affirms our commitment to water resources engineering and construction services," said John M. Kiely, president of the Kiely Family of Companies. "Mr. Applegate will play a vital role in the future direction of our water resources design-build offerings."

Applegate brings more than 32 years of water resources knowledge and experience in the engineering design, construction management, and operation of potable water and wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewage pump stations, and potable water and sanitary sewer storage and conveyance systems. Throughout his career, Applegate has been involved in the coordination and administration of multiple design-build projects. Applegate is a professional engineer in five states, and holds his T3 and W3 operator's licenses in New Jersey. He is a graduate from Rutgers College of Engineering with a BSCE degree.
