Tintometer Recognized with SHARP Award

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) has awarded Tintometer Inc., a 2014 Achievement Award, as a small business employer who operates an exemplary injury and illness prevention program.

“By achieving the SHARP Award, we have placed ourselves in an elite group of Florida businesses, who administer an injury and illness protection program second to none.  We’ve worked hard throughout 2014 and are pleased to have been recognized by winning this award,” said Dan Thompson, vice president of operations.

A letter signed by Florida Gov. Rick Scott was received by the company confirming the award.  In the letter Gov. Scott asked the company for ideas on how Florida can continue to provide health and safety opportunities for its workforce.
