Danfoss Appoints Regional Sales Manager

Gregg Porter will be responsible for the company’s portfolio of hydronic balancing & control valves in the Great Lakes region

Danfoss named Gregg Porter as regional sales manager for the Great Lakes region— which includes North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

In this role, Porter will be responsible for Danfoss’ portfolio of hydronic balancing and control valves, including Danfoss AB-QM pressure independent control valves.

Porter joins Danfoss with a background in the sales and marketing of control and temperature controls, metering, instrumentation and valves—including specific experience in pressure independent control valves. He has worked with Flow-Com Inc., American Maintenance Supply Co. (AMSCO) and Emerson, but most recently comes from Azbil North America Inc., where he worked with power, chemical and steel industries.

Porter holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Illinois University.
