Hatch Mott MacDonald Employee Obtains Professional Engineer License

Rodney Fredericks earned his license from Colorado

Hatch Mott MacDonald is proud to announce that Rodney Fredericks, P.E., has obtained his professional engineering license from the state of Colorado.

“Earning his professional engineer’s license is a major accomplishment and milestone for Rodney’s career,” Hatch Mott MacDonald's Rick Arber said. “His continued growth will benefit him and the water and wastewater industry.”

Fredericks has more than 22 years of experience in water treatment and distribution systems and wastewater treatment and collection system design. He received an associate's degree in drafting technology from the Johnson County Community College and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology from the Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Fredericks has recently completed design and is working on the construction phase services of the raw water, finished water, and concentrate pipeline project for the city of Sterling, Colo. He also has been tasked with developing Hatch Mott MacDonald’s Building Information Management (BIM) system in the west.

“Since my employment with Hatch Mott MacDonald began, I have had the opportunity to work on many challenging and diverse water and wastewater projects.” he said. “I hope to continue to grow and learn with the company and become a positive contributor to the community and profession.”
