Georgia County Offers Stormwater Management Award

The Athens-Clarke (Ga.) County stormwater program is seeking nominations for its first-ever Stormwater Steward Award, which is designed to recognize developers for exceptional stormwater management programs.

Projects will be judged on the use of innovative stormwater management practices in the design, construction or retrofitting of a development project in Athens-Clarke County, exceptional project management, stormwater management education of employees and customers, and volunteer participation in watershed education programs.

Nominations are due by March 19. Forms are available from the county stormwater management office by calling (706) 613-3440 or by e-mailing [email protected].
