Water Treatment Company Announces Promotions

MIOX Corp., manufacturer of disinfection systems for municipal water treatment and individual use, recently promoted various senior executives that have served with the company for a number of years.

The MIOX Board of Directors unanimously approved the promotion of William R. Obermann to chief executive officer and president of the corporation in October 2004. Obermann has been president and COO since joining the corporation in 1998.

Two additional promotions were also announced; Rodney F. Herrington, V.P. engineering & development, and Curtis M. Mitchke, V.P. finance & manufacturing, were both promoted to senior vice presidents of the corporation.

Phil Reinig, Chairman of the Corporation, stated "These promotions recognize the contributions of these executives to the continued strong growth of the corporation."

MIOX Corp. manufactures and sells a proprietary on-site generation disinfection system worldwide that is more effective, safer and healthier than existing technologies. The MIOX mixed-oxidant process is an EPA-compliant technology and is certified by NSF International for use in drinking water systems.
