Cobb County Invests in Indus Software Solutions to Provide Customer Service

Water System Provides the Next Level of Service to Customer Base
Feb. 20, 2004

Indus International Inc., a provider of Service Delivery Management (SDM) solutions, announced that the Cobb County Water System has successfully implemented Indus' Advantage and CRM Essentials and is now using the applications to achieve superior service for its more than 160,000 customers to whom the utility delivers more than 21 billion gallons of water annually.

The Cobb County Water System upgraded from its legacy mainframe system to the Indus Advantage Customer Management suite. Advantage was chosen for its flexible infrastructure with world-class functionality and streamlined business processes to provide better, faster and more reliable information to the utility's customer base. Indus' CRM Essentials is helping the water system verify water usage and bill payment with 24/7 customer support, as well as scheduling and optimizing service requests.

Cobb County Water System undertook an extensive review of several solutions providers, but chose Indus because of its functionality and implementation methodology. "The transition was seamless," said Casey Musselman, Cobb County Water System project leader. "Indus' team approach provided us the support we needed to implement, train and launch Indus Advantage, and the implementation was a huge success for us."
