Des Plaines, Ill.--Water Quality Products named Jeff Roseman, CWS-II, to its editorial board. Roseman is the owner of Aqua Ion Plus Technologies based in La Porte, Ind.
In this position, Roseman will apply his experience and knowledge while continuing to author articles, review submitted articles, help guide the direction of the magazine, participate in special projects and act as an industry resource for the editorial staff and WQP readers.
"Jeff is always driven to educate others," said Wendi Hope King, editor or WQP. "His presence in the field, knowledge, experience and enthusiasm will help propel WQP and its readers into the future. He already has aided in helping WQP gain a strong presence in the marketplace and helping its readers achieve their business goals."
Roseman began his company in October 2000. He recently became a Certified Water Specialist-II. He currently is working on leachate recovery systems for greenhouse water reclamation using ozone and copper ionization to control pathogens. He also has been conducting research on ultraviolet light systems that use a new coiled fluoropolymer tubing from Markel Corp.
A computer consulting job introduced Roseman into the water treatment industry in 1996. He began marketing copper ionization systems for water treatment in the greenhouse industry to control disease, bacteria ad algae. He has been instrumental in designing systems for greenhouse applications during the past seven years and has been a contributing author to such publications as Greenhouse Product News (Scranton Gillette Communications, Inc.).
"I am working to get information to people who can make a difference," Roseman commented. "Publications such as WQP and conducting seminars for growers are good avenues for helping my mission."
