National Water & Power Adds Robert E. Wolpert as Chief Operating Officer

National Water & Power (NWP), a utility billing and customer care services provider, has appointed Robert E. Wolpert as executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) of its Billing Services business unit.

As COO, Wolpert will drive daily operations for NWP's billing business. He will be an essential part of NWP's management team and will report directly to Robert Sherman, president of billing services at NWP.

"We are extremely pleased to add Bob to our management team," Sherman said. "As we continue to expand into new service areas, his extensive experience, leadership, and strong industry background will help propel our operations to the next level and advance NWP's continuing success."

Wolpert brings particular expertise in growth management, implementation of aggressive business strategies, new product development and operational engineering to the company.

Prior to joining NWP, Wolpert served as senior vice president and general manager of a $200 million segment of Output Technology Solutions Inc., a $1 billion provider of billing, check and statement services to multiple markets, including utilities, communications, cable and satellite TV, and financial services. Wolpert gained his management and operational experience while serving in executive management positions at Sealpak Corp, All Payments and Martin Marietta, serving as president, chief operating officer and director, respectively.
