Construction projects include the Northern Governorates’ fresh water carrier, a wastewater treatment plant in Tafilah and wastewater treatment plants in smaller communities.

The Jordan News Agency also reported that the grant will assist in promoting water demand management in small villages, improve management of municipal water supplies and promote the use of treated wastewater for both industrial and agricultural purposes.
