Trojan Technologies Appoints New President and CEO

Trojan Technologies Inc. (TSE:TUV.) has appointed Allan Bulckaert as the Company's new President and CEO, effective October 1, 2001.

H.J. (Hank) Vander Laan, current President and CEO, as previously announced, has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Bulckaert brings to Trojan experience in managing global operations in a manufacturing and high-tech competitive environment. He joins Trojan from Siemens Canada Limited where his most recent positions included Vice President and General Manager of Automotive Systems Group, Global HVAC Systems and Global Emissions Management. He is also an Officer of the Executive Board of Siemens Canada Limited responsible for Environmental Health and Safety in Canada.

Bulckaert has overseen international operations in France, Korea, Mexico, Germany, Japan, the Czech Republic as well as in Chatham and London, Canada. His responsibilities have included manufacturing, quality, marketing and sales, finance, engineering, research and development, and human resources. He successfully led efforts to return a mid-size corporation to profitability and achieved rapid business growth by focussing on increased sales and improved quality while reducing costs and maintaining margins. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He also is Past Chairman of the Engineering Science Advisory Council for the University of Western Ontario.
