Bentley Systems Inc. Releases 'The Year in Infrastructure 2011'

Dec. 30, 2011

Annual publication features more than 300 infrastructure projects

Bentley Systems Inc., a company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, announced that the digital version of "The Year in Infrastructure 2011" is immediately available online and in print. This 240-page yearbook highlights the extraordinary work of Bentley users improving the world’s infrastructure.

It features descriptions and color images of the more than 300 project nominations recognized and 20 winners honored at the 2011 Be Inspired Awards ceremony, held last month at Bentley’s Be Inspired: Thought Leadership in Infrastructure event in Amsterdam. Bentley’s competition acknowledges outstanding achievement and innovation in infrastructure design, construction and operations. The winners are selected by independent panels of expert jurors representing a broad range of infrastructure disciplines.

Also highlighted in the yearbook are the four projects that won the 2011 awards. Candidates for these awards are placed into nomination by the independent panels of jurors for their uniquely innovative and visionary achievements embracing multiple categories. The winners are then selected by a panel of Bentley executives.

The digital edition additionally provides links to this year’s finalist project presentations posted in the online video library. The presentations offer insights into the design and business innovations and best practices employed to achieve the outstanding project results that placed these nominations among the jurors’ top choices.
