Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Opens Newest Branch Near Charleston, S.C.

Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc. of Port Orange, Fla., will host an open house celebration at their new Summerville, S.C., branch, located at 120 Jed Park Place, Thursday, April 6, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, April 7, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thompson Pump will host area contracting companies, engineering firms, industrial accounts and municipalities with a catered barbeque lunch and facility tours.

Thompson Pump will not only open their new doors, but their wallets as well with a drawing for a one-month free pump rental. The Thompson Pump Blue Crew will make an appearance signing calendars and passing out their signature hard-hat stickers. Events throughout the day include John Deere, Deutz, Lombardini, Perkins, Hatz and Isuzu engine distributors educating attendees on their new Tier II and Tier III engines and Thompson Pump corporate staff providing insight into unusual and unique applications; new products; sewer bypass; and Field Preventive Maintenance and service.

The Summerville branch office, one of 19 Thompson Pump branches nationwide, serves more than 200 customers in the South Carolina area. Under the direction of industry veteran Tim Creech and Branch Manager Mike Arnold, the branch provides a full line of Thompson Pump products for sale or rental and the expertise to provide solutions for the toughest dewatering, bypass and special pumping applications.
