RJN Group Conducts Flow Monitoring in North Charleston, S.C.

Company will perform flow metering for a 60-day period

The North Charleston (S.C.) Sewer District (NCSD) Engineering Group contracted RJN Group Inc. to perform flow monitoring in three sewersheds to identify inflow and infiltration that is entering the sanitary sewer collection system.

The flow monitoring was accomplished using four flow meters and two rain gauges to measure the RDI/I contribution during rainfall events. The flow metering originally was scheduled for 30 days but was extended to 60 days. The project is scheduled to be completed at the end of January.
