Pickerington, Ohio Selects U.S. Filter for Water Treatment Services

The city of Pickerington, Ohio has selected U.S. Filter to provide water treatment technologies to remove iron, manganese and hardness from well water and replace an existing package plant that was failing to meet the desired water quality.

The new system will process a total plant flow of 3.5 million gallons per day.

The system utilizes the proven treatment process of aeration, detention, and filtration for the removal of iron and manganese as well as ion-exchange for the reduction of hardness. Specifically, the system includes a General Filter Aluminum Induced Draft Aerator, MULTIWASH Rectangular Steel Gravity Filters and ion exchange softening pressure vessels along with controls for the new water treatment plant.
