Photometer Uses Mobile App to Display Results

July 16, 2014
Results will display on the user's mobile device when testing is complete

The eXact iDip photometer is a solution for accurate, lab-quality, field water quality testing. This unit provides two-way wireless connectivity (Bluetooth smart wireless technology) with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. An Android version will be released soon. With the eXact iDip’s GPS capabilities, users can keep track of customers and water testing locations, and share results and testing history.

The eXact iDip handheld photometer utilizes the eXact iDip app combined with a four-step reagent delivery method for accurate analysis. Select from more than 30 tests, fill with a 4 mL water sample and dip the reagent strip for 20 seconds using a gentle back and forth motion. After testing is complete, the results will immediately display on the smart device. This testing method uses fewer steps than traditional testing measures, resulting in increased accuracy, efficiency and cost savings.

The unit complies with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, ISO and DIN testing specifications. Additionally, the eXact iDip has been recognized by R&D 100 as one of the top 100 technology products of 2014.
