Device allows users to move machines & processes from reactive to proactive maintenance

The Metrix Datawatch IX is designed for those machines and processes that you want to move from a reactive to a proactive maintenance strategy. It offers a local display, an alarm, shutdown and data recording capability. It is ideal for monitoring and protecting centrifugal pumps and blowers. It communicates using Modbus TCP/IP over Ethernet with a plant’s programmable logic controller, distributed control system, SCADA, remote terminal unit and/or host computer/Web server.

Datawatch IX comes standard with four isolated channels and has the option to handle eight non-isolated channels. This panel-mounted compact device can be held in the palm of your hand and has an easy-to-read display. It accepts any 4-20 mA input, such as the Metrix acceleration and velocity vibration transmitters.

The Datawatch IX system provides an economical way to expand permanent monitoring to all of your assets. Start with one and add additional units as you expand your machine condition-monitoring program.
