Former Crane and Rexnord Veterans Join Seattle-based Manufacturer of Alternative Energy Source

MagnaDrive Corp., a manufacturer of new generation magnetic adjustable speed drives (ASDs) and industrial couplings, appointed five regional sales managers to lead the company's expanding North American sales force. Regional sales managers will support and service MagnaDrive's growing customer base in several industries, including wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, HVAC, power generation, manufacturing, and irrigation. Leading the MagnaDrive regional sales force are Daniel B. Hoden, Northeast region; Daniel Winkles, Southeast region; Paul A. Jezuit, Midwest region; Jeff Badders, Southern Region, and James Michael Smith, Southwest region. MagnaDrive's headquarters sales team in Seattle covers the Northwest region.

Currently, there are 46 installations of MagnaDrive's Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD), including Seattle's 55-story Washington Mutual Tower and the Unified Sewerage Agency's Rock Creek advanced wastewater treatment facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. The ASD uses powerful rare-earth magnets to precisely control the speed that a motor, such as an industrial pump or fan, drives a load and has reduced energy consumption by 30 percent to 66 percent in installations across the United States.

"Our initial sales success and commitment to customer service have helped MagnaDrive attract some of the most experienced industrial sales executives," said RonWoodard, president and CEO of MagnaDrive. "Building a seasoned, national sales force will help us develop lasting customer relationships and ensure a stable revenue base."
