Product offers range of communication options
The Keller LevelRat is purpose-built to provide reliable liquid level in conditions that typically foul traditional submersible level transmitters or cause false readings from non-contact level measurement devices. This is achieved through the use of a unique diaphragm material that combines the non-stick properties of Teflon with superior toughness to withstand damage from contact with suspended debris and biosolids without the need for bulky protective cages.
The LevelRat provides 0.5% full-scale total error band accuracy dual output signals, one analog and one digital, for ranges up to 100 ft of water column. The industry-standard analog outputs ensure compatibility with most existing infrastructure, while the RS485 digital communications open a whole new world of options and compatibility with new and existing systems.
The RS485 output uses the same modified Modbus communication protocol as Keller's other digital transmitters. This feature makes direct connection to Modbus SCADA, programmable logic controllers and remote terminal units possible; allows up to 128 transmitters to be connected on a single bus; and facilitates connection to a PC running Keller's intuitive CCS30 software, giving users the ability to actively view real-time pressure/temperature changes, run software-assisted level logging and make adjustments to the analog output to meet your changing requirements.
The LevelRat is built to order in the U.S. in three business days, and 4-20 mA versions still include Keller's guaranteed lightning protection.
