Hydro International Appoints Group Commercial Director

New roles will be responsible for brand and product management and marketing

Hydro International recruited Martin Foyle to the new role of group commercial director with a brief to provide strong strategic direction for corporate-wide marketing and group product development.

Hydro is an international provider of sustainable products for the control and treatment of storm water and wastewater with operating businesses in the U.K., U.S. and Ireland. Foyle will be responsible for group brand and product management and will lead corporate marketing strategy and implementation. He also will provide overall marketing coordination and advisory support to the operating businesses.

An experienced sales and marketing professional, Foyle was formerly marketing manager at Wavin Building Products, where he spent 15 years working in product management, sales and marketing. Most recently Foyle was senior commercial director at Pressalit Care, a leading provider of bathroom and kitchen products for the physically disabled.

“Hydro has created this new role to provide board-level marketing representation and provide clear direction for product and market development throughout the group,” said Foyle. “My role is to ensure Hydro presents a strong and consistent brand across its businesses and continues to develop the right products and services to meet the needs of its customers in future.”

A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer, Foyle will be based at the company’s U.K. headquarters in Clevedon, Somerset.
