Remote monitoring system
Sensaphone has introduced the Sentinel PRO remote monitoring system, designed to provide redundant oversight of critical equipment in facilities using programmable logic controllers or building automation systems. The system delivers continuous monitoring and alerting in a single device, helping operators maintain visibility into key conditions and respond quickly to potential issues.
Sentinel PRO supports up to 12 external digital or analog sensors to monitor parameters such as temperature, humidity, power status, water presence and gas levels. The system measures temperatures from minus 109 to 168 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 85 to 76 degrees Celsius) and notifies users via text message, email or phone call when readings fall outside preset limits. Operators can access real-time data, configure alarms and review historical trends through mobile devices or web-based interfaces.
By providing early detection of abnormal conditions, the system helps facilities address issues before they escalate into equipment failures, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. Available in models with internet or cellular connectivity, Sentinel PRO supports flexible deployment across water and wastewater facilities and other critical infrastructure applications.
