Badger Meter to Showcase Portfolio at AWWA ACE 2016

March 22, 2016
Company will demonstrate its advanced metering analytics platform

Badger Meter, a manufacturer of flow measurement and control solutions, announced it will exhibit its portfolio of water meters, meter reading and analytics technologies for water utilities at the American Water Works Assn. (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE16). The conference will be held June 19 to 22, 2016 in Chicago.

ACE 16 attendees will be able to participate in real-time demonstrations of the company’s Advanced Metering Analytics (AMA) managed solution. AMA is a customizable cloud-based analytics platform that provides actionable information utilities need to better understand, monitor and manage their operations.

AMA combines the BEACON software suite with the company’s  fixed-network cellular technology. BEACON Mobile enables utilities already using the company’s meter-reading technologies to easily transition to BEACON AMA and add cellular endpoints if desired. Another key feature of AMA is a mobile app that helps to encourage conservation by allowing consumers to see and understand their water use.

“Badger Meter has been proud to participate in this premier AWWA industry event for many years. We are especially excited about ACE 16 because it focuses on four key areas in the world of water: drinking, reuse, wastewater and storm water. Badger Meter can help utilities proactively manage their entire water ecosystem, from reliable and accurate residential and commercial water meters to fixed network and cellular meter reading technologies, and the analytics of BEACON AMA,” said Kim Stoll, vice president of sales and marketing for Badger Meter. “We look forward to being part of the conversation at AWWA and exchanging ideas about the challenges water utilities face today.”
