Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Opens New Texas Office

March 7, 2016
LAN now has 10 offices throughout Texas

Planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) announced the opening of its new office in Montgomery County, Texas.

The office will offer water, wastewater, transportation and drainage service to LAN’s clients in and around Montgomery County. Initially, the firm will staff six full-time employees in its office at 100 Interstate 45 N, Conroe, Texas. As the firm’s projects grow in the area and more opportunities arise, this number is expected to increase. Melissa Mack, P.E., LAN’s associate and project manager, will be responsible for growing LAN’s presence in Montgomery County while Byron Bevers, P.E., who recently joined LAN, will be responsible for the office’s business development efforts.

“Montgomery County is growing rapidly and is investing heavily in its infrastructure to deal with this growth,” said Dennis Petersen, P.E., LAN’s president. “This office will allow us to service the needs of our Montgomery County clients from their backyard, become more entrenched in the area and better support the community.”

Currently, the firm is working on several projects with the city of Conroe, including its water master plan, surface water improvements and the South Conroe Wastewater Treatment Plant. The firm is also working with the San Jacinto River Authority on various projects.

With this addition, LAN now has 19 offices around the country, including 10 throughout Texas.
